Coyote Point Yacht Club is located at Coyote Point Park in San Mateo, south of the Bay Bridge and north of the San Mateo Bridge. Views of San Francisco and the San Mateo Bridge/Oakland provide a pretty setting for events in the club house and outdoor activities in our backyard. BBQ facilities, showers for men and women, and free ice are available.
The fuel dock at Coyote Point Marina has both gas and diesel for easy fill up before cruising out and a pump out station. Harbormaster’s Office information line : 650-573-2594.
The Commodore’s Room, which includes a bar, lounge area, and outside deck overlooking the SF Bay, is available for rental every day except for Friday. From our professional kitchen, lunch is served on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A light menu including hot sandwiches, salads and other pub fare is available on Friday nights.
Rotating dinner events are offered on Saturday nights. For priority service you can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org . We are a private club for members and their guests. If you are interested in membership, please stop by during a Friday lunch or dinner and we’ll give you a tour and membership information. Just ring the bell and ask to speak to the officer of the day.
CPYC offers informal racing opportunities open to the public on Wednesday evenings from April through October, as well as a bi-monthly Winter Series races in January through March. Additionally, we run a popular 6-week summer youth sailing program, also open to the public. Members enjoy cruise-outs, club regattas, dinner and a movie nights, and a variety of other social events throughout the year.
Members enjoy reciprocal privileges at most yacht clubs in the SF Bay Area and at many clubs worldwide. Club burgees in our Commodore’s and Regatta rooms attest to our members’ visits to other yacht clubs and visiting yacht clubs to CPYC.
