Four boats participated in Saturday’s Commodore’s Cup Race:
Luther Izmirian and crew on Paradigm, Jack Verducci and crew on Vita e Bella, Mike Haddock and crew on Hot Ice and Tom Fedyna and crew on Smooth.
Vita e Bella was the first to cross the finish line, but Paradigm (with Commodore Andy Smith aboard) corrected out for the win. Congratulations, Luther!

Commodore’s Tribute Dinner
The dinner menu, prepared by Club favorite, Chef Mac, included “Autumn Leaves”, a salad with Bibb lettuce, toasted hazelnuts, pears, quince paste vinaigrette and Gorgonzola. The main course, “Bessie in the Pumpkin Patch”, was a pumpkin seed crusted tri-tip with piquillo pepper coulis served with honey roasted Brussels sprouts, seasonal mushrooms and spiced rum-poached kabocha squash. The dessert, “Fall Decadence”, was a maple and Ghirardelli chocolate tart with pecan brittle, topped with maple bourbon chantilly cream.
