Help Save Smiley

Don’t let Smiley sink with the fishes!

On a pleasure cruise this weekend we noticed that Smiley, our beloved Z mark, was sitting very low in the water. Evidence of a fiberglass crack is on its side, clearly Smiley is in need of a rescue sooner than later.

Gary Edwards has volunteered Panda Angler to retrieve Smiley on Saturday morning. We’ll be needing a couple of volunteers for the rescue effort to prevent the loss of the ground tackle. Once returning to CPYC we will repair Smiley then start building two additional racing buoys for the coming season. We need lots of folks to show up at noon to help with the creation of the new marks!
