California Cruising Clippers will be cruising in to Coyote Point on Saturday, August 20th. Their cruise leader, Bob Jacoby, anticipates at least 10 boats will be occupying our guest dock and we’re super excited about their visit. In communicating with Bob thus far, it is obvious that they are a fun loving bunch (unusual for boaters, right?)!! We are planning to lay out the red carpet for them and we invite all club members to join us for what promises to be a Saturday night to remember. Here’s what’s up:
A Hawaiian Style buffet will be served in the Regatta Room and the back yard. (There is a private event upstairs). Our fabulous chef Steve will be preparing grilled teriyaki chicken kabobs, grilled marinated tri-tip, cocoanut rice, grilled vegetables, and salad. Dessert has yet to be determined, but I’m thinking pineapple upside down cake sounds good. (Blog me with your dessert ideas)! California Cruising Clippers are bringing appetizers to share. The cost for dinner is $12 and will include a tropical drink special that Carly will be concocting. Come join us for this end of August celebration. There may be a limbo contest, who knows? For sure there will be the electric slide.
