Once again our Vice Commodore, Yvette Yong, prepared a fantastic dinner! We were treated to a 1st class affair. Here’s a look at what we enjoyed, course by course!
First Course – Warm potato chips paired with Roederer Brut
Second Course – Crostini with Prosciutto, Ricotta & Arugula, paired with Tangent Rose
Third Course – Spinach Salad with Feta, Cranberries & Almonds, paired with Honig Sauvignon Blanc (somebody didn’t finish their Rose!)
Fourth Course – Shrimp Alfredo with Pasta, paired with Au Bon Climat Chardonnay
Fifth Course – Pork Chop with Cherry Sauce, Polenta and Swiss Chard, paired with Paul Dolan Pinot Noir
Sixth Course – Steak Kebob with Grilled Mushrooms, Zucchini & Peppers, paired with Justin Cabernet Sauvignon
Seventh Course – Chocolate Brownie a la Mode, paired with J Lohr Merlot
WOW! What a feast! All of the wines served at the dinner are available at the bar in half-bottle sizes. Come on in and try some!
Needless to say, everyone had a wonderful time!
