Marin YC Cruise Out 2015

Labor Day Cruise to Marin Yacht Club

Marin Yacht Club rolled out the Red Carpet, once again, for us for our Labor Day Weekend Cruise. This year 20 boats made their way to San Rafael for an action packed weekend. The Staff at MYC could not have been more cooperative and the weather sure was Super. We used every available berth that Marin had to offer us!

Marin is always a fun Cruise. We have boats returning from time on Delta Cruises, as well as those up just for the weekend. This year many of our group spent hours at the pool, playing tennis, or participating in the Sunday Bocce Ball Tournament. There was something for everyone.

Bocce Ball drew 11 teams that slugged it out on Sunday Afternoon with KATHLEEN I
beating Stoli’n Time for the First Place Trophy.

Marin Yacht Club offered very fine meals on Friday and Sunday Nights as usual. The Highlight of the Weekend was the Fantastic Treat that CPYC Member Torin Knorr offered Saturday Night. Applewood smoked rotisserie chicken, tri-tip, corn, green beans, salad & Boysenberry Pie with Ice cream all came from Torin’s Mobile Feast Trailer.
Dinner for almost 60 members was served on a Long Harvest table. As the light faded, most folks were still seated around the table enjoying the company of fellow members.

Sunday Morning, Torin and crew served a wonderful Breakfast of French Toast, Eggs, Bacon and Fruit.

I’m sure that as word gets out how great the Marin Yacht Club Cruise was this year, it will once again “Sell Out” next year.
